The Tipton Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Northside L 74-45 on the road. Tipton's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Tipton was led to victory by Grady Carpenter and Nolan Swan. Carpenter scored 22 points along with nine assists and seven rebounds, while Swan scored 28 points. The contest was Swan's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Money, who scored eight points.
Northside L lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being DUKE KARNES, who scored 17 points. CAM BRUNK was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five assists.
Tipton's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Northside L, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.
Tipton will be playing at home against Maconaquah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Maconaquah's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Northside L will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against HomeSchool Resource Center at 4:30 p.m. on January 5th. Hopefully HomeSchool Resource Center focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
