Washington Latin Public Charter School has not had much luck with Idea recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Idea's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nehemiah Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Malachi Hoston, who scored 15 points.
Washington Latin Public Charter School has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Idea, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
