Washington Latin Public Charter School has not had much luck with Idea recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Idea's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nehemiah Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Malachi Hoston, who scored 15 points.
Washington Latin Public Charter School has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Idea, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington Latin Public Charter School will face off against Digital Pioneers Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Idea, they will head out on the road to face off against Washington Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
