They were the clear victor by a 74-51 margin over Acadiana Christian. Christian Home Educators Fellowship has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 games by 22 points or more this season.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben Furlow out in front who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Tanner Rizan, who scored 22 points.
Despite the loss, Acadiana Christian still got an impressive performance from Ty Olivier, who scored 29 points along with two steals. That was a full 56.9% of Acadiana Christian's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jude Wilder, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship pushed their record up to 28-1 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home. As for Acadiana Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Home Educators Fellowship won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool at 8:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 191st, while Christian Home Educators Fellowship is ranked 41st). As for Acadiana Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Shreveport HomeSchool Sports at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
