After three games on the road, Drury/Mount Greylock Regional is heading back home. They will take on The McCann Tech Hornets at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Drury/Mount Greylock Regional beat Springfield International 20-12.
Meanwhile, McCann Tech had to endure a 15-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 20-10 victory over Pathfinder RVT on Friday. The win was just what McCann Tech needed coming off of a 36-6 defeat in their prior game.
McCann Tech had a senior duo take command as Connor Packard rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries and Walter Mazza rushed for 121 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.
Drury/Mount Greylock Regional's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for McCann Tech, their win bumped their record up to 1-6.
Everything went Drury/Mount Greylock Regional's way against McCann Tech in their previous meeting back in September of 2022 as Drury/Mount Greylock Regional made off with a 27-2 victory.
