The Harriton Rams will face off against the Haverford Fords at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Harriton is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since April 11, 2024 on April 2nd. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Springfield 3-2.

Sam Bohnenkamp spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up nine Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Harriton is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 0-3 otherwise.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cole Chodkowski, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
Meanwhile, Haverford had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Cougars.
Lucas Rothstein looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Haverford saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Cassidy, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Another was Ben Ishmael, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Haverford pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Harriton, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Harriton has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Haverford struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Harriton suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Haverford in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Rams have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
