If Montclair was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Chino last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cavaliers fell 3-1 to the Diamond Ranch Panthers on Friday. The Cavaliers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Montclair started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-18.

Montclair's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Diamond Ranch, they pushed their record up to 9-11 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Montclair will take on Chaffey at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Diamond Ranch, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Chino at 4:30 p.m.
