With a playoff game on the line, the Timber Creek Wolves rose to the challenge on Monday. They really took it to the Cougars for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-33 win at home. Timber Creek has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 24 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Timber Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Serene Exalant, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Channing Warren, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Timber Creek is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for University, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12.
Timber Creek will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Boone at 7:00 p.m. Boone will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Timber Creek surely won't give up without a fight. University does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
