After a string of three wins, Trona's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 34-33 to the Big Pine Warriors. The Tornadoes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Big Pine found their leader in sophomore CAMERON GIBSON, who posted 15 points.

Trona's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Big Pine, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Trona wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-42 victory against Mojave on the 4th. As for Big Pine, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-66 win against Non Varsity Opponent on the 4th.
