Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Phoenix Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Destiny Kinsey, who went 8-for-19 en route to 24 points. The game was Kinsey's third in a row with at least 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Kinsey, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 11 points and six steals.
Meanwhile, College Prep & Leadership Academy was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Leadership Academy 47-10. The Royals haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Phoenix Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for College Prep & Leadership Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
