They were five  points away from ending the streak, but they lost a  62-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fort Dorchester Patriots. While the Green Wave didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Patriots  17-12 in the first  quarter.

 Despite the  defeat, Easley had strong showings from  Rj Stack, who  went 9 for 19  on his way to 20  points and seven  rebounds, and  Ethan Crews, who  posted 18 points and seven  rebounds. Crews' morning made it eight games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Malachi Ramey, who  put up three  points and six  rebounds.

Easley's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Fort Dorchester,  the  win  got them back to even at 4-4.

As for Fort Dorchester, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  95-43  win against Military Magnet Academy on the 21st.
