Steele Skinner posted a new career-high in hits on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. He also put up two doubles, which were his first of the season.

Skinner and Holliday will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on April 8. Holliday is 7-2 against Vernon going back to March of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
