Even though the Pike Valley Panthers have not done well against the Lincoln Leopards recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Pike Valley walked away with a 44-34 win over the Leopards. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pike Valley.
Pike Valley was led to victory by Raelyn Bolte and Breanna Reeves. Bolte scored 15 points along with five rebounds, while Reeves scored 20 points along with two steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Reeves has scored at least a third of Pike Valley's points.
Pike Valley pushed their record up to 7-6 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
Pike Valley will play host again and welcome the Bulldogs, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Osborne will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Lincoln is on the road again on Monday and plays the Leopards at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th.
