High Point Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Mauriyanna Brown, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Jones, who earned ten points in addition to seven rebounds.
Trinity's win bumped their record up to 3-0.
Trinity will face off against Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for High Point Central, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Southwest Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. High Point Central will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
