The Jackson Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Tri-Cities Bulldogs at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Jackson will be strutting in after a  win while Tri-Cities will be coming in after a  defeat.
 After only six  points in their last  game, Jackson made sure to put some  points up on the board against Villa Rica  on Friday. Jackson snuck past Villa Rica with a  32-26 win. The  win was a breath of fresh air for Jackson as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Jackson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Rashad Harp led the charge by throwing for 122 yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in  a touchdown on the ground.
 Meanwhile, Tri-Cities' recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Creekside, falling  64-6. While losing is never fun, Tri-Cities can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings  (they are ranked 316th, while Creekside is ranked 35th).
 Jackson's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Tri-Cities, their defeat was  their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
 Everything came up roses for Jackson against Tri-Cities in their previous meeting  back in November of 2022 as the  team secured a  55-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jackson since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
