Summit Academy extended their losing streak  to three  on Saturday, dropping them down to 1-8. They had to suffer through  a    49-6 loss at the hands of the Neshannock Lancers. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing  47-6 to the Lancers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Neshannock, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won five games by 27  points or more  so far this season.
 Neshannock had a senior duo take command as  Jino Mozzocio threw for 206 yards and a pair of  touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes and  Anthony Eakin rushed for 132 yards and two  scores on only 14 carries. Eakin has become a key player for the Lancers: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  100  rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Justin Edworthy, who rushed for 69 yards and one  TD on only five carries.
 Summit Academy has already played their next matchup,  a  28-6  defeat against Shenango on the 25th. As for Neshannock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  14-7  loss against Laurel on the 24th.
