After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against St. Croix Falls, Ashland was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They came out on top against the Cumberland Beavers by a score of  3-1. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Oredockers as it spelled an end to their seven-match losing streak.

Ashland's win bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Cumberland, they dropped their record down to 4-25 with the  defeat, which was their tenth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Coming up, Ashland will take on Northwestern at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Cumberland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  loss against Amery on the 11th.
