After losing to the Arete Prep CHARGERS the last time they met, the Desert Christian Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Desert Christian took down Arete Prep 30-14 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Desert Christian.
Desert Christian was led to victory by Anika Mulkey and Addison Jones. Mulkey scored nine points along with 14 rebounds and three steals, while Jones scored eight points along with eight steals and six rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Mulkey has scored at least 25% of Desert Christian's points. Faith Charles was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Desert Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Arete Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
