Alcona has gone a perfect 4-0 against Mio-Au Sable recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Adriana Grimshaw was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mio-Au Sable, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Oscoda on Thursday.
Kenzie Wickham spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kayla Leach, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Those stolen bases marked the first that she has snagged this season.
Alcona's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Mio-Au Sable, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Mio-Au Sable's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Alcona hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .343. It's a different story for Mio-Au Sable, though, as they've only averaged .247. Will they be able to contain Alcona's hitters?
