Dutchtown's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Denham Springs Yellowjackets with a sharp 15-0 win. Considering the Griffins have won eight matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Dutchtown's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Denham Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.

Dutchtown will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Yellowjackets: the pair will be back at it again later today.
