The Peetz Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 40 points or more this season. They took their game on the road on Saturday with ease, bagging a 66-18 win over Banner County. That looming 66-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Peetz yet this season.
Peetz was led to victory by Noah Naegele and Rhyder Bayne . Naegele scored 12 points along with nine rebounds, while Bayne scored 20 points along with three steals. Chance Seglke was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six assists.
Isaac Olsen and Jacob Parsons certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Olsen scored eight points along with eight rebounds, while Parsons scored no points. Olsen hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Banner County struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Peetz racked up 13 assists.
Peetz's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Banner County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peetz will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Creek Valley at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. As for Banner County, they will head out on the road to face off against Potter-Dix at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
