The Vance Charter Knights stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They breezed by Oxford Prep at home to the tune of 61-32. The win was nothing new for Vance Charter as they're now sitting on four straight.
Vance Charter found their leader in underclassman Alyssa Bullock, who dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 14 rebounds, and ten assists. Bullock is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Caelyn Bunn, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Vance Charter's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Oxford Prep, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Vance Charter will play host again and welcome Henderson Collegiate, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oxford Prep, they will head out on the road to challenge Roxboro Community at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
