After losing to the Round Valley Mustangs the last time they met, the Mendocino Cardinals decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Mendocino walked away with a 55-48 win over the Mustangs on Tuesday.
Mendocino's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Theo Hahn, who scored 18 points. Dylan Zeramby was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Mendocino has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Round Valley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8.
Mendocino will take on the Bearcats at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Potter Valley comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Round Valley, they will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
