Lathrop had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the East Buchanan Bulldogs 52-24. The Mules have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Lathrop is also on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for East Buchanan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Lathrop will take on South Harrison in a tournament on Thursday. As for East Buchanan, they and Lafayette County will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
