The Lakeland Preparatory Lions lost against the Memphis Business Academy Execs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lakeland Preparatory's tough 67-45 loss to the Execs might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Lakeland Preparatory can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 317th, while the Execs are ranked 83rd).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Memphis Business Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Randy White Jr, who scored five points along with five assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Teryck White, who scored five points along with five steals.
Lakeland Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Memphis Business Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
Lakeland Preparatory will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Tipton Christian Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Memphis Business Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
