After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clear Lake, the Cloverdale Eagles were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Fort Bragg by a score of 69-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Diesel Cavallo was the offensive standout of the contest as he dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Patton, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds.
Cloverdale now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Fort Bragg, they bumped their record down to 3-15 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cloverdale will take on Lower Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Bragg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Upper Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper Lake is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
