Everything went their way against the East Duplin Panthers on Tuesday as they made off with a 14-4 victory. Ashton Fricks made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Caden Cox was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Dalton Gray was another key player, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
