McLane has been on the road for three straight, but  on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Hoover Patriots at 6:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.
 On Thursday, McLane was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  66-61 to Roosevelt. McLane has not had much luck with Roosevelt recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Despite the  defeat, McLane got a solid performance out of   Isaiah Pamanes, who  scored 22 points along with six  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Pamanes has scored all season.  Cedric Hughes was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 14 points and ten  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Hoover beat Sunnyside 73-68 on Thursday.
 McLane's loss  ended a four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-8. As for Hoover, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.
 McLane came up short against Hoover in their previous meeting  back in February of 2023, falling  66-57. Can McLane avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
