Marshall County has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Christian Fellowship Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marshall County will be strutting in after a victory while Christian Fellowship will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Marshall County beat Calloway County 49-40.
Meanwhile, Christian Fellowship came up short against Murray on Friday and fell 54-41. Christian Fellowship has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Marshall County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Christian Fellowship, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
Everything came up roses for Marshall County against Christian Fellowship when the teams last played last Saturday as the squad secured a 65-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marshall County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
