Amelia Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Troy Hill, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jacob Barbour, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Amelia Academy bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Veritas School, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

As for Veritas School, they will head out on the road to face off against Veritas Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Veritas Collegiate Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully Veritas School likes a good challenge.
