Ware Shoals had to endure a ten-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Thornwell Saints on Tuesday by a score of 16-6 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Hornets not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 24th (when they won 23-0).

Ware Shoals' win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-10-1. As for Thornwell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Ware Shoals will have a chance to go back-to-back against Thornwell: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
