The Owings Mills Golden Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Sparrows Point Pointers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Owings Mills, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Sparrows Point's (thus far) undefeated season.
Last Friday, Owings Mills was beaten by Carver A&T 59-16.
Meanwhile, Sparrows Point was able to grind out a solid victory over Carver A&T on Monday, taking the game 48-39.
Owings Mills' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sparrows Point, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Owings Mills and Sparrows Point were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February, but Owings Mills came up empty-handed after a 40-39 defeat. Can Owings Mills avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
