The Raft River Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 67-54 to Carey. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Raft River of the 70-67 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.
Preston Wood continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Carey, dropping a triple-double on 32 points, 13 rebounds, and ten assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wood has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Owen Parke, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds.

Raft River won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Shoshone at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Shoshone is ranked 151st, while Raft River is ranked 136th).
