The West Lafayette Red Devils lost against the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. West Lafayette took a 56-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tri-West Hendricks.
Tri-West Hendricks' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Wes Ward, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Max Robertson, who scored 17 points along with 9 rebounds.
West Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Tri-West Hendricks, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Benton Central the next time they take the court. West Lafayette will head out to face Benton Central at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, while Tri-West Hendricks will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
