In what's become a running theme this season, Cook Inlet Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 60-30 win over Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cook Inlet Academy.
Cook Inlet Academy relied on the efforts of Alek McGarry, who scored 23 points, and Ian McGarry, who scored 27 points. McGarry continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.
Lumen Christi bumped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Cook Inlet Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
Lumen Christi came up short against Cook Inlet Academy when the teams last played back in March of 2023, falling 44-34. Can Lumen Christi avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
