There's no place like home for South Stokes, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Surry Central Golden Eagles on Thursday as they made off with a 12-2 win. Considering the Sauras have won seven contests by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

South Stokes is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Surry Central, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Stokes will head out to face off against Starmount at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Surry Central, they will venture away from home to take on Ashe County at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
