After two games on the road, Norwalk is heading back home. They will take on the St. Joseph Cadets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Norwalk is ranked 57th, while St. Joseph is ranked 60th).
Norwalk suffered their biggest defeat since December 15, 2023 on Friday. They were the victim of a tough 62-41 loss at the hands of Ridgefield. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Norwalk has scored all season.
Meanwhile, even though Darien scored an imposing 65 points on Friday, St. Joseph still came out on top. St. Joseph took their game against Darien 73-65. The victory was just what St. Joseph needed coming off of a 71-43 loss in their prior contest.
Tj Wright was his usual excellent self, scoring 38 points along with five assists and two steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of St. Joseph's points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Febus, who scored 13 points along with six assists and three steals.
Norwalk's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for St. Joseph, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Norwalk beat St. Joseph 80-69 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Does Norwalk have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. Joseph turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
