Notre Dame has gone a perfect 10-0 against Clay recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Titans will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
On Tuesday, Notre Dame got the win against St. Joseph Central by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Flyers: they've now won seven in a row.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Notre Dame took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-2, 25-4.

Notre Dame's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Lyndsey Schaefer, who had 17 assists and five aces, and Bella Rush, who had eight aces. Schaefer has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 26 times she's played.
They weren't the only good servers: Notre Dame was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Clay duked it out with Glenwood on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers.
Clay's got stronger as the match went on, holding Glenwood to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-13, 25-12.
Notre Dame's record is now 15-4. As for Clay, their record now sits at 13-5.
Everything went Notre Dame's way against Clay in their previous matchup back in September, as Notre Dame made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
