Carolina Forest got themselves on the board against Myrtle Beach on Friday, but Myrtle Beach never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Seahawks. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won seven matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Jackson Meyers was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jalen Collins, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Carolina Forest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .381. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Myrtle Beach only posted a batting average of .118.

Carolina Forest's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Myrtle Beach, their record is now 7-12.

Meanwhile, Myrtle Beach is set to take on their familiar foe North Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Seahawks have won three straight at home, while the Chiefs won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
