Lawrence Academy had won two straight games and Carter Hoggard did his part to make it three on Friday. The Warriors took down the Ridgecroft Rams 60-43 thanks in part to Hoggard, who shot 90% from the field to rack up 22 points and six boards. The game was his third in a row with at least 17 points.

Despite the loss, Ridgecroft saw an underclassman step up: freshman Harrison Jones posted 19 points and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Ethyn Beachboard was another key player, putting up six points and six rebounds.

Lawrence Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Ridgecroft, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Lawrence Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-51 win against Greenbrier Christian Academy on the 6th. Ridgecroft has also already played their next game (against The Oakwood School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
