For the first time this season, Newman Smith was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Lone Star could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
Meanwhile, after soaring to ten goals the game before, Turner were a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They were the victim of a rough 5-1 defeat at the hands of Reedy. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Turner couldn't quite close it out.
With that draw, Newman Smith's record moves to 5-7-1. As for Turner, they now have a losing record at 5-6-2.
Newman Smith suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Turner in their previous matchup on Monday. Can Newman Smith avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
