In what's become a running theme this season, Christian Fellowship gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They breezed by Columbia Independent at home to the tune of 53-18. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-8.
Kylie Babich continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brooke Grathwohl, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Christian Fellowship has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Columbia Independent, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Fellowship will square off against Lighthouse Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lighthouse Prep Academy is coming into the contest with three straight victories at home, meaning Christian Fellowship will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for Columbia Independent, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Prairie Home at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Columbia Independent comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
