Jax Kusel put up the most strikeouts he's had over his last four contests on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits.

Looking ahead, Kusel and Akron will host Limon at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams haven't beaten the Badgers recently, having gone 0-3 since April of 2022.
