The Clyde Fliers suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 58-23 loss at the hands of Bellevue. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Clyde has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Clyde still got an impressive performance from Cora Liskai, who scored four points along with two steals. Liskai has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.
This is the second loss in a row for Clyde and nudges their season record down to 5-10. As for Bellevue, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
Clyde will head out on the road to challenge Port Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Port Clinton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Clyde in Ohio (Port Clinton is ranked 184th, while Clyde is ranked 467th). As for Bellevue, they will play host again and welcome Margaretta, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Margaretta will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.
