In other batting news, Carrick got a massive performance out of Blake Andrews, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Andrews a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luzay Watson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Carrick kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive matches.
