The Eagles never let the Greyhounds get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Thursday. Considering the Eagles have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Emiliano Leon was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Hancock: the team is 8-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-11 otherwise.
In other batting news, Anthony Tagler and Aaron Perez did most of the damage at the plate: Tagler went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one double, while Perez went 2-for-4 with two triples, two RBI, and one run.
