After having lost a blowout in their previous game against El Rancho, Arroyo was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 22-5 margin over the Gabrielino Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won six games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Arroyo got a big performance out of Rebekah Ruiz, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her six plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Leslie Saldivar, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

Arroyo's record now sits at 7-5-1. As for Gabrielino, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Arroyo has already played their next match, a 7-4 loss against El Monte on the 28th. Gabrielino has also already played their next contest (against Marshall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
