Clay County won against McCreary Central on Friday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Tigers never let the Lee County Bobcats get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Clay County's fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-9. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Lee County, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Clay County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bobcats: the pair will be back at it again later today.
