Mt. Vernon came out on top against Zanesville on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fifth inning. The Yellowjackets blew past the Blue Devils 13-2. Considering the Yellowjackets have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
