Wolfson waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the First Coast Buccaneers, sneaking past 51-49. For the Wolfpack, this counts as revenge for the 51-38 win the Buccaneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Wolfson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hannah Timmerman led the charge by putting up 22 points. Persephone Colon was another key player, posting 15 points.

First Coast's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sha'Niah Bennett, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 21 rebounds. Those 21 boards gave Bennett a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Halima Saad, who posted 20 points and four steals.

Wolfson's record now sits at 4-2. As for First Coast, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-4.

Wolfson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-22 loss against Sandalwood on the 13th. As for First Coast, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-35 defeat against Westside on the 12th.
