Dutchtown is 3-0 against Warner Robins since December of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Dutchtown Bulldogs on the road again and play against the Warner Robins Demons at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Dutchtown scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ola 82-30 on the road. Given Dutchtown's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Ola is ranked 386th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Warner Robins had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.7 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They walked away with a 99-91 win over Veterans.
Dutchtown pushed their record up to 12-7 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Warner Robins, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
Dutchtown strolled past Warner Robins when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 70-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dutchtown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
